Sunderland manager Martin O’Neill says his side are playing catch up in the Premier League, as they search for their first win of the campaign.
O’Neill’s side are a game behind the rest of the Premier League, after their home match with Reading was postponed earlier this season due to a waterlogged pitch.
It has left them with the task of four away fixtures from their opening six league games.
Sunderland are unbeaten so far this season but have drawn each of their three Premier League games, two of which have come from O'Neill's side surrendering a lead.
