Video: Asamoah Gyan: Would you rather have the money or the goals?
After Sunderland vice-chairman David Miliband said that Asamoah Gyan's loan move benefited the club, Sky Tyne and Wear asked fans on Wearside if they agreed.
The striker joined Sunderland in August 2011 and scored 11 goals in his first season.
He then left on a season-long loan with U.A.E side Al-Ain in September 2011 in a reported £6m deal.
