The Republic of Ireland have called David Meyler into the squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Germany and the Faroe Islands.

The Sunderland midfielder has been drafted in as manager Giovanni Trapattoni awaits news on an injury suffered by Kevin Doyle.
The Wolves striker pulled up in training on Friday with a thigh injury and has been sent for scans to ascertain the extent of the problem.
The Irish squad are due to being preparations for the Group C clash with Germany at their Portmarnock training base on Monday.
An FAI spokesman said: "David Meyler has been called up to Giovanni Trapattoni's squad. He will join up with the squad in Dublin in time for training on Monday morning.
"In other news, Kevin Doyle picked up a thigh injury during training with Wolves this morning.
"The extent of the injury remains to be seen. Kevin is having a scan later this evening with results expected tomorrow."
