Spurs youngster Danny Rose has joined Sunderland on a season-long loan. Rose who appeared for Team GB at the London 2012 Olympic games was said to be Martin O'Neil's number one target heading into deadline day.
Sunderland are in talks to sign former Newcastle midfielder Jermaine Jenas from Spurs. The midfielder, who famously said playing for Newcastle was like "living in a goldfish bowl", was initially thought to be the target of a loan deal on Wearside.
Kieran Richardson has completed his move to Fulham, after agreeing personal terms with the London outfit. Martin Jol has brought Richardson to the club after Moussa Dembele had completed his move to Spurs earlier in the window.
Reported Sunderland target Steven N'Zonzi looks set to complete a move to Everton today. The Blackburn central midfielder was part of the Rovers side which was relegated from the Premier league last season. (Daily Mirror)
Bryan Oviedo is set to complete his move to Everton after the club agreed a fee for the Costa Rican international. Oviedo was reportedly a Sunderland target but the Merseyside club appear to have won the race for the Coppenhagen full back. (Sky Sports News)

Sunderland target Clint Dempsey has turned down the chance to join Aston Villa. Fulham had agreed a fee with Villa, but Dempsey is believed to be keen on a move to Liverpool. (Sky Sports News)
