O'Neill took ten players from Ball's development squad over to South Korea to play in The Peace Cup.
Speaking after his side had beaten Northern League outfit Spennymoor Town 1-0, thanks to Alex Gorrin's late winner, Ball said: "The players have had an amazing experience and been given a great chance to show the manager what they can do.
Ball next takes his development squad to Gateshead on Friday 3rd August (KO 7:30pm).
