Sunderland may miss out on signing defender Carlos Cuellar.

Despite already holding talks with Sunderland, Greek side Olympiakos are reported to have also opened negotiations with Cuellar.
The former Rangers man is a free agent after leaving Villa Park this summer.
Cuellar has also been linked with a return to Spain with Osasuna.
However, Greek giants Olympiakos are now keen on securing his signature after learning that Avraam Papadopoulos would be sidelined for a number of months.
Papadopoulos damaged knee ligaments in Greece's opening Euro 2012 draw with Poland and that has meant Olympiakos need to look at their options.
Sporting director Darko Kovacevic is now in talks with Cuellar's representatives.
