Despite an outstanding performance by Lawyers' goalkeeper Richard Gordon, Dunston romped to their second successive 5-0 victory in the holiday programme to enhance their goals difference.
The home side went ahead on 16 minutes when Andy Bulford bundled the ball into the net and on the half hour mark, Chris Swailes produced a clinical finish. Before the interval he was again on target with a powerful header at the far post.
By now, relegation was a formality but Tow Law were tenacious in defence before conceding two goals in the last 10 minutes to Stephen Shaw and Stephen Goddard.
Dunston are now only five points behind leaders Sunderland RCA with seven games in hand while they trail second-top West Auckland Town by a couple of points, having played two games fewer than their rivals.
