GORE WARNING: Michael Gray's hair transplant

Former Sunderland and England footballer Michael Gray is becoming the first person to have his hair transplant operation streamed live on the internet.

Sky Bet

The Talksport pundit, who noticed he was receding at the age of 32, is having up to 4,000 hairs removed from the back and sides of his head.

Thousands of people will be able to watch as the hairs are transplanted to the front of his scalp to help tackle his receding hairline.

Micky decided to have the surgery to improve his confidence, saying his work in the media had made him aware of his appearance.

"When I watch myself back I'm concious of how I look, so from the confidence side of things I'm hoping that will beat that.
