Newcastle Diamonds finished their season on a high on Sunday night by winning the Premier League Knockout Cup.
The Diamonds beat the Ipswich Witches 58-32 in the second leg of the final at Brough Park.
The night before, George English's side had beaten their Suffolk counterparts 48-42 in the first leg to give themselves a six-point lead going into the second leg.
Captain Mark Lemon was delighted with his team's performance as they had the trophy wrapped up after heat 10.
Lemon said: "It's a great feeling to win the trophy and especially with it being our last race meeting of the season, to have the match won with five heats left shows just how well the boys performed."
