Dougie 'The Bullet' Curran features on the bill for Wraith Promotions' 'Return Of The Cash' bringing him his first professional fight in Newcastle.
Featherweight Curran will face Leroy Smedley on September 9.
Curran, 24, has had 21 professional bouts to date, he has won five and lost 12 in his professional career.
Smedley is a relative newcomer with only three pro fights to his career and is six years older than Curran.
Curran is on the day's undercard which is headlined by light heavyweight Akash Hussein, another boxer from the area who returns to the ring in the city to face Akos Diossi.
