Whitley Bay's championship-winning women's ice hockey team are looking for more players.
Whitley Squaws won the National League North championship last season, and followed that up with victory at the National Play-Offs.
According to Squaws captain Jane McClelland anyone can get involved, and it is a great way to make new friends.
"I couldn't even skate when I first started," she said. "It's a great way to keep fit, with a great bunch of people."
The Squaws train at Whitley Bay Ice Rink at 11pm every Friday night, with anyone interested in playing encouraged to go and watch to see if the sport is for them.
