Peterlee-born archer Alan Wills and his Team GB teammates have been dumped out of the Olympics on day one of the competition.

Wills, along with fellow archers Larry Godfrey and Simon Terry were always trailing opponents Ukraine and lost 223-212 at the event held at Lord's Cricket Ground.
Great Britain had seeded eighth in the ranking tournament the day before the final competition, one place ahead of Ukraine.
Wills will now go into the individual competition which will be held on Wednesday August 1 when he faces Australia's Taylor Worth.
