The return of the 'Summer Rumble' boxing event to the Stadium Of Light broke a British record.

With sixteen professional fights on the bill, it became it the biggest fight card in British history.
Organised by promoter Phil Jeffries (father of Olympic medalist Tony), the event attracted a host of different boxers.
Among the fighters was Sunderland and Commomwealth heavyweight Dave Dolan who convincingly beat his opponent Simon Cover over all four rounds of their bout.
Dolan says his next objective is to fight for a belt: "I am just pleased to get this fight out of the way, I have trained hard and I am now hoping I will be given my title shot, which I feel I deserve."
