Organised by Tyne Wear Sport in partnership with the Northumberland Cricket Board and England Athletics, it gives disabled children the chance to try out a range of disciplines.
Ian Wardle from Northumberland Cricket Board said: “Within cricket we can adapt for anybody who wants to come along and for kids with a range of disabilities.”
As well as finding future stars, the event encourages all participants to take up sport long-term.
Shelley Holroyd from England Athletics said: “We also help put kids into multi-sports clubs, increasing participation of disabled athletes.”
