London 2012 Olympics: Grenada Olympic Squad Acclimatise In Sunderland

Three London 2012 athletes are training with Sunderland University ahead of the games.

The trio, from Grenada in the Caribbean, were invited along with coaches for a camp until Wednesday July 11.

800m runner Neisha Bernard-Thomas, Decathlete Kurt Felix and 200/400m runner Joel Redhead have been based in Sunderland since Monday July 2.

They are using training facilities across the region, visiting schools and will travel to Alnwick Castle to experience some local heritage.
