Hepscott Park Garden Café is inviting local families and cake lovers to come along for a sweet treat this weekend by taking part in its very first cupcake decorating workshop.
Taking place this Saturday 1 June at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm, Head Chef and café manager Stuart Lindsay will be sharing his trade secrets with budding star bakers on how to decorate the perfect cupcake.
So whether you’re looking to improve your piping skills or simply want to get creative with edible glitter, those taking part can look forward to decorating six speciality cupcakes to take home and enjoy. Stuart said: “Lots of people have fond memories of baking with their mum or grandma when they were little and our workshop is all about encouraging parents and children to learn new skills together as a family.
“Cupcake decorating is a great way to have fun in the kitchen and we’ll be demonstrating all the wonderful styles you can create with colourful icing sugar. At Hepscott Park Garden Café, we’re passionate about producing home-cooked dishes and want to share our love for food with others.
“We’d encourage anyone who enjoys a good cupcake and is looking for something to do this half term, to come along and join in the fun.”
Located just a few miles outside Morpeth with free car parking available, Hepscott Park Garden Café is open daily where you can enjoy the best in locally sourced produce with lots of tasty dishes to choose from.
