MONKTON STADIUM TURNED INTO HAUNTED MANSION THIS HALLOWEEN...
This Halloween, Monkton Stadium will be transformed into a spooky mansion house that promises to be a creepy experience for the people of South Tyneside.
The only bats usually seen by staff and customers at the Jarrow-based sports centre are of the cricket variety but this Saturday (27th October) Lord Lavendar’s Haunted Mansion will open its doors to eerie effect. Spooky characters Chester the Servant, Malice the House Maid, Spook the Ghost and Ann Toinette plan to bring an air of fun and fear to the proceedings, as they welcome visitors to the scary setting.
There will be food and games on offer including fancy dress, disco and prizes. Everyone who buys a ticket will get a hot dog and drink but additional refreshments, spooky cakes and biscuits will be on sale throughout the evening.
The haunted mansion is aimed at young people aged between 5-11 years old and they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Tickets can be bought by calling 0191 489 1283 or by visiting the reception at Monkton Stadium. The party will start at 5.00pm and run through until 6.30pm.
Venue Address: Monkton Stadium, Dene Terrace, Jarrow, NE32 5NJ
