25 Brave volunteers walked over hot coals tonight to raise vital funds for local children's charity Heel & Toe based in County Durham.
The charity organised a sponsored fire walk where each volunteer raised over £100 each to walked bare foot over hot coals.
Heel & Toe Children's Charity provides FREE therapy to children with cerebral palsy, dyspraxia and other motor disorders in the North East of England. Over 80 children currently attend the centre each receiving 4 hours of free therapy to help with their condition.
There is no government funding for Heel & Toe so the fire walk is one of their annual fundraising events which allows the local community to get involved in the fundraising side to help keep the charity running.
