Police investigating the double murder of an elderly couple in their home have made three more arrests.
Stephen Seddon, also known as Nic, from Benevente Street in Seaham has already been charged with the murder and attempted murder of his parents, Bob and Patricia.
He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
The couple, both in their sixties, were found dead at their home in Sale in Greater Manchester in July. They had been shot.
Now a 49-year-old man, a 39-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and firearms offences.
All three have been bailed until November 27.
A 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, a 55-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice have been bailed pending further inquiries until 29 October 2012.
