Police say a man and a woman were stabbed in South Shields last night.
Seven people have been arrested after police were called to a disturbance on Tasmania Road in South Shields last night.
Police were called to the address at 9.30pm last night.
The stab wounds are believed to have been caused by a knife.
They were taken to hospital with non-life threatening wounds.
Police are appealing for witnesses, if anyone has any information they are asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101.
