A camera full of precious baby photos was stolen from a car in Newburn and police are urging whoever has it to hand it in.
The camera was inside a baby changing bag which was accidentally left in the car park at North Bays, close to Newburn Leisure Centre at 5pm on Sunday July 22.
It is a black Panasonic Lumix.
Neighbourhood Inspector Leigh McManus said: "The camera contains irreplaceable family photos and we are appealing for the public to help us find the camera or the memory card so they can be returned to the owners.
"The memory card holds all the pictures taken of the owners' baby son and understandably they are distraught at losing such precious pictures.
"If anyone finds this camera or memory card then we would ask they hand it in to their nearest police station."
