Police in Sunderland are appealing for witnesses after threatened the occupants of a house in Sunderland.
It happened at 9.20pm on Thursday, June 28, when the men went into the address in Ridley Terrace, Hendon, armed with weapons.
They threatened the man and woman who were inside. The man suffered minor injuries and went to hospital as a precaution.
A 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and is currently in police custody.
Det Sgt Jim McErlane said: "At this stage we believe the people in this incident are known to each other. No-one was seriously injured and a man has been arrested. We're appealing for witnesses and would urge anyone with any information to contact us."
