Police are appealing for witnesses after a suspected arson attack on a house in Gateshead.
Officers were called to an address in Keats Walk at 12.26am on Tuesday, June 19, after reports of a small fire at a house.
A 29-year-old man was arrested and is now in custody. The house suffered only minor damage and no-one was injured.
