A memorial service will be held for PC David Rathband with an open invitation to fellow members of the Northumbria Police force.
The 44-year-old traffic officer was found hanging at his home in Blyth, Northumberland, on Wednesday February 29.
PC Rathband was shot and blinded by gunman Raoul Moat as he sat in his patrol car on the A69-A1 roundabout in Newcastle in July 2010.
Northumbria Police said in a statement: "A memorial service will be held during the week commencing March 18 in memory of PC DavidRathband.
"On behalf of his widow Kath and their children, all his colleagues will be invited to attend. Further details will be announced in due course."
