Newcastle have confirmed that striker Nile Ranger has been handed a final written warning over his attitude towards training.

Ranger has been persistently late to sessions over the last couple of months, leaving his troubled career on Tyneside hanging by a thread.
The 21-year-old has four years remaining on his contract but his attitude to work has been angering the Newcastle coaching staff in recent weeks and he was even late to a disciplinary meeting called to discuss his behaviour.
Boss Alan Pardew accused Ranger of letting down the side last week and he has now been banned from training with the first-team until he turns up at the club on time for six weeks running.
Pardew said: "This guy is late so often, it is unbelievable. He's still at this football club and we're still trying to do something with him.
"But he will still not get back in the team unless he has a period of six weeks where he isn't late. I don't think it is going to happen."
Newcastle have made Ranger available for loan but a move to Sheffield Wednesday fell through over his personal terms.
