Spurs finished just four points ahead of the Tynesiders at the end of the last campaign with both teams ending up in the Europa League because of Chelsea's Champions League victory.
It is the Blues who provide Newcastle with their first away opponent on 25 August with the first of their derby matches against Sunderland coming on 20 October at the Stadium of Light.
Christmas could barely have been less kind to Alan Pardew with two away trips; Manchester United on Boxing Day and Arsenal three days later ahead of a home clash with Everton on New Year's Day.
The home derby with Sunderland comes on April 13 when three of Newcastle's four games are at home.
And they also conclude the season in front of their own fans with Arsenal the visitors on 19 May.
