Transfer Talk: Krul, Ba or Tiote to leave Newcastle?

Football agent Gary Smith says transfer speculation is linking Tim Krul, Cheick Tiote and Demba Ba with moves away from Newcastle.

Midfielder Tiote has been linked to many clubs throughout his two seasons with the club and on May 23 tweeted: "I'm staying I don't wana leave".

Goalkeeper Krul attracted interest from Chelsea earlier in the season.

Ba finished as Newcastle’s top scorer last season but suffered in front of goal when Papiss Cisse arrived in January.

Smith also explained that he has heard rumours that defender Sebastian Bassong may return to the club.

Bassong left Newcastle after their relegation in 2009 and went to Tottenham.

He has failed to establish himself at Spurs and spent part of last season on loan at Wolves.

Smith says that Bassong enjoyed his time with Newcastle and would not hesitate to return if the chance was possible.
