Newcastle Striker Demba Ba Can't Wait To Get Back On The Pitch Next Season

He tweeted: "What a great season we had. I'll miss sjp and the atmosphere for few weeks. Cant wait to step back on the pitch and feel the noise again..."

But while Ba's enthusiasm isn't in doubt, one football insider thinks other clubs will already have been in touch with Ba's agent.

Former agent Peter Harrison has told Sky Tyne and Wear, "I'd be surprised if clubs hadn't contacted him even though that's not in the rules of the game... unfortunately it is 2012 and those sort of things go on."
