Newcastle Falcons’ players cannot afford to be caught up in the occasion when they play Wasps says director of rugby Gary Gold.

Gold’s side are four points behind Wasps and must beat the London side and take a bonus point to avoid relegation.
The Falcons need to score at least four tries and stop Wasps securing a losing bonus point.
Gold says his players realise that this is their last chance to secure Premiership safety: “It’s do or die, a really big occasion.
“In some ways it’s quite an exciting occasion and we can count ourselves lucky that our fate is still in our hands.”
