Manager Ian Bogie and reserve team manager Phil Bryson will pick the players and say they will play some part in the first team.
Footballers released from the likes Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday are amongst the trialists.
Bogie and Bryson will watch three training sessions this week and offer contracts next week.
All the players are under 19 and are trialing for a one year football apprenticeship on £95 per week.
If successful they will receive education, professional training and free physiotherapy.
