Dunston UTS manager Billy Irwin says their FA Vase win is ‘history’ as he prepares his side for another season.
Irwin spoke to Sky Tyne and Wear after watching UTS draw 1-1 in a pre-season friendly against Brighouse Town.
Wembley goalscorer Andrew Bulford gave Dunston the lead before the Yorkshire side equalised from a second half penalty.
Irwin said: “No one is talking about the Vase, it is history now. Today was a good workout on a hot day.”
