Simon and Jason Cook Stand Up For NUFC Foundation

Five of Britain’s best comedians are getting together for one night only to raise funds for Newcastle United Foundation.  

The charity comedy night, on Monday July 16, will feature stand-up from Geordie stars Jason Cook, Gavin Webster and Simon Donald, as well as Paul Tonkinson and Junior Simpson.

The event will take place at The Stand Comedy Club on High Bridge, Newcastle, and all proceeds go to the Club’s Foundation, raising money for disadvantaged children, young people and families in the North-East.

Tynesider Donald is the co-creator of Viz magazine, while Tonkinson is the former host of Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast and has appeared on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow on BBC1.

Completing the line-up is Jason Cook, star of new BBC sitcom Hebburn, Edinburgh Fringe Festival veteran Webster and the well-travelled Junior Simpson, who is a regular at London’s Comedy Store.
