The Fall, Beth Jeans Houghton, King Charles, Sound of Guns, The Sunshine Underground, Jake Bugg and many more to perform at the regions first ‘Cult Festival’ weekend.

The North East music scene is in for a real treat as Cult Festival takes over Hoults Yard, Newcastle – Friday the 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday the 8th JulyThe Festival will see over fifty bands perform over three stages as well as a celebration of Cult Movies, World Food and Real Ale. Friday night will be a celebration of all things Ska and will be headlined by the legendary SelecterSaturday not only features the much-anticipated headline show from the iconic Fall, but also live sets from the exciting and incredible new talents of Beth Jeans Houghton, King Charles and Sound of Gun’s Not forgetting one of the regions finest festival bands B>E>A>K. The Sunday will take a more Pop/Indie feel with the Sunshine Underground and The Sensational Jake Bugg, currently selling out venues left right and centre after his storming performance on Jool’s Holland recently. “The setting will be the region’s most creative courtyard at Hoult’s, which really excites us”, comments North East gig promoter Steve Davis.

“Some unsung local artists will also get their chance to shine with the likes of Alex Butler, Tomahawks for Targets, The Watchers and more- all whom have had great success this year”. Weekend tickets are just £25 and day tickets are priced at £20 Saturday/£10 Sunday
