Graham Onions made the most of his Test omission to record his best figures on day two of Durham's Division One game at Nottinghamshire.

The seamer - sent north from Lord's in the morning - arrived too late to bat in his side's first-innings 194 but then took 9-67 as Notts' reply reached just 154.
By the close Durham took their lead onto 67 without losing either opener, but the day unquestionably belonged to Onions, whose haul was the best in England this summer.
The visitors lost their remaining wickets for 110 after resuming on 85-4, but even as batsman after batsman was being sent back there was comfort in the knowledge Onions was on his way from London.
And the conditions proved just to his liking as the dismissal of Alex Hales - trapped in front - proved the forerunner to a remarkable performance.
All bar two of Onions' victims were out bowled or leg-before, Riki Wessels and Chris Read went to successive balls and only Paul Franks' game half-century prevented total collapse.
In the end Onions' chances of getting all 10 were undone by his own accuracy as he ran out a leaden-footed Luke Fletcher with the score 154-8.
