Newcastle Eagles have re-signed centre Darius Defoe.

Defoe signs up for his eighth season with the club.

The 6’8” Londoner has played a part in all 17 of the Eagles trophy wins in the last eight seasons.

The 27-year-old was voted Most Improved Player by the clubs fans last season as the Eagles won all the trophies they played for.

Defoe averages over 12 points and 8 rebounds per game, making him one of most valuable British players in the league.
