‘The Prince’ helped Eagles win all four trophies in 2012 being most valuable player in two finals.
Smith was also the champions’ second highest point scorer in the BBL Championship with 456 points.
Player/head coach Fab Flournoy said: “It’s fantastic to be signing Charles back to the club.
“He’s been a key player in our success and he will play and instrumental role in helping us retain last season’s form.”
The Eagles will now look to recapture Darius Defoe and hope to announce further signings in “The next couple of weeks.”
