Andrew Thompson also impressed with 10 rebounds and 20 points, as did Darius Defoe who managed 19 points.
Eagles player/head coach Fabulous Flournoy said: “I’m very delighted. They are probably one of the most dangerous teams in our league at the moment because they are capable of beating anybody.
“Coming in off the trophy victory we were on an emotional high and it was difficult trying to set a tempo in practice.”
Elsewhere results went for Newcastle as Leicester Riders beat second place Worcester Wolves 91-68.
Flournoy could not hide his delight at that score, he said: “That is a good result for us, it is difficult to not say it.
“We have to concentrate on what we need to do and that is take care of the Rocks on Sunday.”
Newcastle Eagles travel to Glasgow Rocks on Sunday April 1, for a 5pm tip-off.
